Although EasyBib was maintained and features had been added, the design had not been updated for many years and was not optimized for mobile and tablet. The design was very outdated and there was very little visual consistency across the app due to features being added and designed at different stages by different people. Lastly the site was not set up to optimize its ad placements properly and many ad views were going unseen.
